At KU Transportation Research Institute, we have some of the greatest minds at work figuring out real solutions to emerging transportation problems. Currently, KU TRI has over 100 people from a variety of disciplines including faculty, technical and administrative personnel, undergraduate and graduate students and other support staff working in its research program. These people are involved in all types of research projects such as lengthening the life of bridges, developing the next generation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, finding new sources for biodiesel, and helping people become more attentive drivers.
